Singapore being an island, (and an ex British colony), about the same size as the Isle of Wight, high mileages are very unusual, and this unit is no exception, having covered only 63k kms (about 39k miles) from new. Its also a very expensive place to live and vehicle ownership is eye wateringly costly. The wealthy Singaporians tend not to buy the basic models, so this Touran comes with all the toys. Auto trans, Panoramic sun roof, leather interior, etc. etc.

This 1.6Tdi has now arrived in the UK. It’s been collected from the docks, import taxes paid, and is customs cleared and is now being re-commissioned in preparation for registration with DVLA.
It has been serviced and has a fresh MOT, and a Dsg (gearbox) service will be arranged soon.
The documentation has returned from DVLA, so the vehicle is now registered and now sits on my private plate.
I will be using it as my daily runner to shakedown any issues arising, but is now available for legal road use.
