I bought this car recently with the full intention on breaking it for parts as it’s a fairly rare spec and has a few decent modifications and maintenance done to the car over the course of its life it’s covered 166k miles 130k of those full VW service history and the rest VAG specialists. I have a folder and book full of invoices and stamps showing how looked after it’s been over the years just the bodywork letting it down In places !
The reason I’ve decided I’m not breaking it as it’s to good of a car to ruin and send to the scrap pile it drives like it’s done half the mileage it’s done. The interior is absolutely mint and has to be one of the tightest mk6’s I’ve owned.

it’s had a brand new set of Bridgestone tyres , wrapped over freshly refinished and diamond cut 18inch monzas
Sunroof slide and tilt
Dynaudio package
Genuine set of front xenon headlights
Genuine set of rear LED lights
Brand new discs and pads all round
Freshly fitted carbon fibre splitter lip
Rtech stage one remap and gearbox software
Full miltek none res exhaust system
Brand new genuine rear subframe less than 5k miles ago
Fresh springs all round
Forge motorsport induction kit
Updated car play headunit
Sump has been off and pickup pipe cleaned
The little niggles it has are minor for someone with abit of knowledge about these cars.
Standard golf era the wings are starting to bubble around the top edges.
Little bubbling on the lower of the passenger door
Stone chip on passenger side of windscreen not a mot fail and not really noticeable.
Main beam bulb light error on dash.
Upon driving the car home I’ve noticed higher up in the rev range it produces a puff of smoke. Had it diagnosed as turbo seals on the way out had it on the ramp and it’s looks to have never been off so a car with 166k on with original turbo it’s not done bad !
Headlights could do with a buff up.
Stone chips on bonnet and front bumper
Comes with a private plate which I’ll try and remove before the sale of the log book comes back in time
Viewings are welcome, no group viewings car is currently sat not being used so tax or insurance on
