Vw corrado vr6 1993 128,520 miles.
Remember this is a 33 year old car and it’s not going to drive like new car that’s just rolled out of the factory.
I’ve owned this car 15 years and love every minute driving here but unfortunately have to sell finding hard getting it and out of her now.
I sold the car but brought it back because the new owner thought it was going to drive like a modern car and asked for his money back. (He only had it for a week!)
The insurance company have given me an evaluation of 16,000 this is what they think it would be worth if it was written off.
Over the last couple years she’s hand full engine rebuild which has been lightened and balanced with custom cams give more power. The engine rebuild was only done 3000 miles ago also the gearbox has been rebuilt with the first and second gears from a G60 gearbox to give better acceleration. Pegasus limited slip diff as installed into the gearbox. The car is running on waterless coolant which helps it run more efficiently.
This year before the mot new wheel bearings front and rear along with new brake disc and pads. And poly bush kit replacing all of the old bushes so it sticks to the road like it’s on rails.
The leather seats are in excellent condition as it was all reupholster a couple of years ago as seen in the photos.
I’ve serviced the car my self every 3000 miles with genuine VW parts. Just replaced the HT leads and the coil pack this month so she’s running smoothly again.
There is the odd little marks on the paint-work considering the car is over 33 years old. And there is a small rust patch on the rear tailgate has seen in the Photos. I have a New rear seal for the window as I was going to get that done at the end of this summer.
Mot with no advisories in March this year.
Also, comes with two spare alloy wheels, twin fan conversion with electrical fans ready to be fitted. And a box full of various electrical components that are very hard to get these day. I would say there’s about £1500 of spares.
Twin fan kit with new electrical fans which was planning fitting over this winter.
I’ve got over 20 years plus of history and the main dealership vag corrado manual ( which are very rare to come by along with original sales brochures)
I am looking for around £7500 Ono.
