This black VW Sharan was imported from Japan two years ago and stands out immediately for its superb condition and unusually low mileage. Japanese vehicles are renowned for their meticulous maintenance standards and rust‑free bodies, thanks to strict inspection rules and a climate that’s far kinder to cars than the UK. Also Japanese cars—especially MPVs like the Sharan—tend to cover far fewer miles than UK equivalents.

The vehicle is in excellent condition, both inside and out. The interior is clean, well cared for, and shows minimal wear. Bodywork presents very well for its age, and the car drives smoothly with no unwanted noises. A great example that has been well maintained eg I have just replaced the battery and alternator (cost £635). New MOT with 2 Advisories re brakes, which I have replaced for £409. My mechanic told me that in fact the brakes did not need replacing but I did it anyway.
If you want a spacious, reliable, and well‑looked‑after 7‑seater, this Sharan is one of the best examples available. 2 keys. But no CD player, weirdly. I can’t list all the specs but it is high. I have owned it for two years but have barely used it, hence the sale. Driven entirely (by me anyway) in the country so no stop/start town driving. Slight downside is that I have never used the Satnav (English model not Japanese) and the analogue dial is in kilometres, although the digital readout is in miles.
The VW Sharan remains one of the best all round 7 seaters on the market comfortable, spacious, and extremely reliable. The high spec/low mileage makes it especially desirable, with electric sliding doors and all the practical extras families appreciate. A genuine, well looked after car ready for its next owner.
