if anyones looking for a nice original unmolested Mk2, here she is’owned since may 2023, due to 6 other cars and my own recovery and Transport business and a full time job, ive struggled to get time to see and drive properly I’ve driven round the yard and selects gears and drives lovely just not had time to drive on the road unfortunately, cleaned up and polished from being sun faded, just needs sills and inside door shuts…
if anyones looking for a nice original unmolested Mk2, here she is’owned since may 2023, due to 6 other cars and my own recovery and Transport business and a full time job, ive struggled to get time to see and drive properly I’ve driven round the yard and selects gears and drives lovely just not had time to drive on the road unfortunately, cleaned up and polished from being sun faded, just needs sills and inside door shuts polished, all the engine and bay is in cleaned up and gleaming, needs a couple bits on body tidied up, she has a couple very minor battle scars, was going to use it as a daily but it’s way to clean for my liking, plus don’t want to ruin the interior due to being a Hgv tech,
1 previous owner (and she drove it from London to drop it off)101k Wads and wads of paperwork with services kept upto date, vw booklets handbooks and manualIt’s Even got the vehicle order form that was ticked for the cars purchase and where, It was registered on the 19/08/1988I’m sure all the old Tax disc paperwork’s there too’ you will be very surprised with the paperwork side of things!Any old parts they were changed for new were kept as proof they were done, V5 in my name, 2 main keys for doors and 1 copy spare and 2 spare keys for boot as lock failed in 1997Interior is near immaculate and without any wear on the carpets or seatsBack seats never sat in, Old girl bought it in to ferry her disabled mum about as she was her carer Has just flown through an mot with a couple of advisories Just had a new gear selector bush kit fitted, Just had some new boot gas struts as they’d gone weak in the cold, Could do with new rear door seals, but it’s bone dry inside as you can see from the pictures

The Cars just attended baston classic car show and received a heap of best way to say it was love and compliments from everyone who was looking at it, and plenty pictures taken of it, was also the only original Mk2 CL 4+E there, found this out from the four people that attended from VW enthusiast and VW magazine unknown to me it could be in a magazine in the next couple of months (didn’t ask ♂️)
