Unique 1954 Beach Buggy , Ive owed the buggy for 6 Years in which time it has been completely re-vamped from a tatty old bare buggy to its present glory. Engine was stripped down and taken from a 1131cc to 1600cc by local VW Beetle and camper specialist, Body was prepared and re-sprayed to a vibrant Tango Orange, the interior has all been re upholstered in a carbon fibre look material…

Engine was stripped down and taken from a 1131cc to 1600cc by local VW Beetle and camper specialist, Body was prepared and re-sprayed to a vibrant Tango Orange, the interior has all been re upholstered in a carbon fibre look material with logo and piping to match interior, Full instrumentation to include double din stereo, four speaker system and a separate adjustable Bass amp in the boot, FM CB radio (good buddy) sprung whip aerial, GPS speedo, one off hinged boot lid to access storage space, battery and spare fuel can. new stainless steel roll bar with retractable seat belts fitted. Full moon hub caps on split rim wheels (I’m told by VW man) Has had brand new custom made detachable cover, comes complete with retro used surf board that straps to bar and screen also picnic hamper for those days out at the beach with your buddies ! I have side panel/pods in same colour but have never tried fitting them as prefer the custom made stainless steel running bars fitted, LED halo front headlamps, everything electrical works as it should albeit old as the car ! Has a Harley Davidson silencer fitted to the tailpipe, sounds awsome. TSL 253 original registration is worth money on its own. Its V5C lists as historic vehicle so no tax or MOT needed…Recently serviced by garage to include oil, plugs, points changed and new battery, I had it tested once back on the road for piece of mind but not bothered since, happy to Mot it again if needed for a sale, All chassis solid and sound , no visible signs of corrosion, has been coated in a waxoyl type protection. When driving down the street …Trust me you get more interest, attention and cheers than a 100K Lamborghini of Ferarri . Bad Points : The chrome tinware that was new last year is showing signs of surface pitting, I’m told that the kits are very thinly plated but you can buy a new set for a couple hundred online if you didn’t want the polish them up. Has a 75mm scratch on the bonnet but happy to have that re done for the advertised price
