This a great opportunity to grab a soon to be classic with low mileage – Would definitely suit a Golf or VW enthusiast. This came to me in an unloved state and I’ve spent a lot of time and care restoring as much as I can of this car. It has had a new headliner, full service in 2024, part service in 23, new gasket, new thermostat, reconditioned the wheels as best I could, scrubbed the interior, replaced the stereo, replaced brake calipers and discs, rear light, bumper trim on front, and more besides. MOT runs to May 2027 and it goes like the clappers. It’s great fun to drive and with someone putting a bit more TLC into the car this will only go up in value. The only stand out jobs that need doing, aside from the advisories, is that the rear defogger doesn’t work and the air-con needs recharging. There is a bit of rust on the rear driver’s side door sill corner, a small dent on the passenger wing (both pictured) and light scratches over the paintwork , most of which was there when I bought it. Also, a steering sensor warning light is on the dashboard, but there is nothing wrong with the steering and it has gone through 2 MOTs and no issues with it. Currently on a SORN.
