*ADVENTURE READY* VW TOUAREG V6 Altitude 4×4 SUV with roof tent, awning and walls and coded tow bar. We are reluctantly selling this brilliantly capable vehicle with its much loved roof tent and awning set up because we have bought a motorhome and cannot keep both vehicles.
The car is in very good condition, it is an exceptionally smooth and powerful drive and very capable off-road or in snow, if needed. The body work is excellent with very no dents and very few imperfections. It comes with an extensive service history and MOT until August 2026 and four brand new Bridgestone SUV XL tyres. My partner has worked with vehicles all his life and is very particular about the quality of everything that gets replaced or added to it. It is manual transmission with permanent 4-wheel drive and a low ratio gearbox with selectable front and rear differential locks. It also has hill start and descent assist. Its very short front and rear overhangs makes this vehicle a joy off-road. It has a Westfalia tow bar that has dedicated 13-pin electrics and has be ECU coded to ensure the reversing aids functions accurately when you add things to the tow bar. The cost of parts and fitting for this was a lovely £1000. It has Frontrunner roof bars that securely attach the roof tent and awning and were professionally fitted by Tuff-Trek at a little more than £1000.
The roof tent has only been used for 2 weeks and the awning for one week. The mattress is super comfortable and the roof tent a limited special edition that is the most durable we could find. The awning can be self-supporting or can use legs. The walls turn the area underneath into a fabulously large room to protect you from any weather. The roof tent is a James Baroud Magma tent (£3900 and currently out of stock). Ours is number 226 of 500. It has a rugged line-X coated exterior with 4mm ABS with UV protection. The mattress is 2.5 inch high density foam, there is a solar powered vent and windows that offer 360 degree panoramic views, The 3-layer material provides complete black out and unmatched thermal and sound insulation.
The awning is a James Baroud Falcon 270 degree awning (£1650) that provides maximum shade and an extensive living area. Really easy to open and close. It will happily shelter 6 people. The accompanying James Baroud Falcon 270 degree awning walls are composed of 5 independent panels, 4 windows and 2 doors. This creates a 10m squared living space.
We really have gone all out to make this the highest spec adventure vehicle we could and would love someone else to go on many more adventures in it. Please ask if you have any questions.
