Combi, Caravelle & Campervan
Yes she is 3 vans in 1, a very unique and amazing vehicle. I bought her new 8 1/2 years ago and had a professional conversion done which included: Genuine VW aluminum California powered pop top roof (bed in roof is so comfy), Caravelle floor with front to back rails that everything slides on so the layout is flexible, Carravelle 7 seat set up with captains swivel chairs and table. Webasto diesel heater, 1500W sinewave inverter, insulation, spotlights, Slide pod rear drawer, Vangear kitchen pod, 100w solar panel wired into leisure battery, Fiamma awning, A frame windscreen blinds, curtains etc etc.
When she was converted I had the roof lining mouldings specially made to blend with the California roof.
Everything lifts in and out of the van so she can be empty, run with 3 x bench seat, or as a minibus or as a camper, she is a true Multivan. I have not seen anything else like her, totally versatile.
Factory spec includes: 4 wheel drive, T32 extra load capacity, better brakes etc, 200bhp, twin sliding doors with soft close, Led headlights, adaptive cruise control, heated seats, heated folding mirrors, carplay etc includes full set of seat covers.
I have owned her from new and she has been dealer serviced to 6 years then last two has been serviced by a local specialist. She has wanted for nothing and has just been serviced, just had the cambelt, water pump done, long MOT, good Michelin all season tyres. She is in very good condition, there are the usual scuffs and some scratches around the tailgate opening and here and there, consummate with daily use but only minor and cosmetic. She drives just like new, she has done 131k miles and is ready for another 130k plus at least. The phrase “reluctant sale” is a bit of a cliche but never more true here. My journeys are now only local and we have a motorhome so no longer need the camping side, kids are all grown so we are going electric and buying a Buzz.. not sure if it’s the right thing to do but there you go.
Someone has the chance to buy this amazing multivan and enjoy her as much as we have.
All the seats, camping stuff etc comes with the van so we think it is a bit of a bargain.
