An excellent opportunity to buy a Mk1 facelift Sharan with the highly sought-after, bulletproof 1.9 TDI BVK engine code. This engine has covered an incredibly low 89,000 miles and runs well.

  • The Good: Massive MOT until March 2027. Mechanically brilliant, pulls strongly, and offers a ton of life. Only 2 owners from new and from the same family.  Service history from New until 2023. 
  • The Honest Bits: It recently had structural welding completed on both sills to secure its long MOT. The plastic trim moulds do not sit perfectly flush over the new welds. There is a small dent on the boot door, a few minor paint defects (non rust) and an active airbag igniter warning light on the dash. The squib/clock spring was changed on recent MOT so possibly can be cleared when plugged in or may just be a loose cable.
Priced fairly at £1,750 considering the rare engine, low miles, and long MOT. Perfect workhorse, taxi base, or enthusiast project for someone that wants the engine.
