2005 Golf GTi 5 door, 106,000 miles
I have owned it for 3 years and in that time I have covered less than 1000 miles. It has a full service history up until 2019 and in my ownership I have replaced the turbo, think it’s a KS04, I have done the head gasket, replaced the coil pack, obviously the oil and coolant was replaced and new plugs just fitted. Timing belt and water pump replaced. It also comes with an mot until Dec 2025
I purchased an interior from a later model GT which had leather seats so these have been put in but I still have the original seats. The original door cards are still in place but I also have the GT ones which can be fitted if desired. There are also a few newer switches if you wish to swap the originals.
2 DVD players fitted in the roof but they are non op and I’ve not tried to find out why.
It’s very fast, well for me anyway. I’ve been told the BHP will be 300+ but I’ve not had it on a rolling road to test it. Headlights have been upgraded and the air intake is definitely not standard issue.
Things to note are the wheels which will need refurbing, 3 dentman digs on the bonnet, the rear bumper looks to have been nudged at some point and the paint is cracked, it’s look like it’s been reversed into a post or something similar. Small rust patch on the outer bit at the front of one of the sills. All in all I’d say approx £700 in total. Everything can be done as and when. Not a bad car at all but it’s not really my thing and I’ve lost interest in it, space on the drive and cash in my account would be better.
